ABOUT US
Unity Yoga Collective is a partnership between three of Greenville’s most experienced and loved instructors, coming together to bring old-school yoga to diverse bodies and joyful movement. Rooted in tradition and informed by decades of experience, our teaching honors classic practices while adapting them for modern lives. Built on an inclusive, welcoming community spirit, we’re here to move, breathe, laugh, and build meaningful connection — together.
Heather is a 500-hour RYT with 10+ years of teaching experience, having trained at the Karuna Yoga in Virginia and Asheville Yoga Center; her classes are designed for everyBODY.
Heather is also a certified Personal trainer, nutrition coach, public school teacher, and has specialties in Prana Pump, Restorative, Yin, Ariel and Vinyasa.
Heather encourages her students to challenge their perception of what it means to be healthy and whole. She is a gift to the yoga community and all those that she leads.
Maile Wilder is a North Carolina–based yoga and functional movement instructor and the founder of Move Wildly, a practice that blends yoga, strength training, mobility work, and research‑based movement principles. Her teaching emphasizes injury prevention, core stability, and efficient, pain‑free movement.
Maile is also a 500-hour RYT certified instructor and has been practicing yoga since she was a little girl, beginning at five years old. Maile offers private lessons, is a beloved instructor at Magnolia Health Services, East Carolina University, Back Stage Coffee, and various other local treasures.
Julia Petrasso is an RYT‑200 and SUP Yoga–certified instructor whose teaching blends fiery, fast‑flowing movement with grounded, accessible sequencing designed to meet students exactly where they are. She teaches across studios, community spaces, and internationally, leading yoga instruction classes at luxury resorts throughout Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Curaçao, where her oceanfront flows and travel‑friendly movement sessions attract students from around the world. Julia is also the founder of the Pitt County Detention Center’s women’s yoga program, a trauma‑informed initiative she built from the ground up to support women in recovery and expand access to healing movement.
